A Tonic for Trauma
My Whole-istic Dental Lab & Summit is launching this fall and I’m sharing one of my Tonic Tooth Recipes with you to jumpstart your healing.
The coolest thing about this tonic aside from the fact that it tastes like COFFEEEEE (which I can’t and wont drink anymore but LOOOVE)..
is that it has a double direction and two fold healing effect
1. Double Direction (Intelligent) Healing
regulating, adaptogenic influence on the central nervous system. If you’re too low in something it will increase it; too high it will decrease it. Double direction points to the tonic herb’s innate intelligence to work with the body to rebalance no matter where you are on the spectrum of a pathology.
2 Two Fold Tonic Effect
This tonic works to heal, seal 7 Seed (as Nadine Artemis calls it) the tooth terrain so that you can begin to reverse cavitations, cavities and gum issues both systematically/physiologically AND emotionally by reviving the central nervous system and seat of consciousness itself.
The Ultimate Tonic for Trauma
is a threefold path home (to God) that includes God Himself…
3. Get out of Your Own Way
The Ultimate Tonic for Trauma is to get our mind out of the way and allow the body to do what it knows how to do on its own, when the middleman is removed - the mind in this case.
2. God’s Tools
Secondary to getting out of our own way are the holistic tools we have at our disposal to heal and thrive far beyond old states of trauma - so I’m sharing one of them in this post that will be jacked up and available inside my Whole-istic Dental Lab & Summit launching this fall.
1. God
But the Number one to healing trauma, is and will always be, God. G.O.D., grantor of our dominion and birthright to it. He is the ultimate healer, practitioner & Father of all solutions to our suffering.
“Fear Not” shows up in The Bible 365 times. Never forget that the root of all fear is in the flesh and the principalities that attempt to take tear away our standing under God’s jurisdiction, where Love and truth reign. They will fight to triumph over your affairs. It’s our job to make it our business to bind and loose them out, through God’s Knowledge, wisdom and understanding (proverbs).
We have the gift of free will, wisdom and intellect to heal thyself through God’s resources, but without Him we can do nothing. This is the most powerful preventative and antidotal gift we have for heirship over our health when it comes to trauma recovery.
Ephesians 6:12
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
King James Version (KJV)
Our physical and energetic bodies are intricately entangled.
When we suffer from acute or chronic stress, it pulls at the thread of life, unraveling our core stores of vitality, longevity & resiliency to life itself.
Ironically, the ball of trauma - our incomplete emotions stemming from an event - is tightly wound & bound in the fascia of our physical bodies, creating the captain of your every thought, emotion and decision making ability, until we start to unravel IT. Before we know it, we’ve lost our core compass and have been navigated directly into an iceberg, lost in a sea of emotions we can’t make sense of - because they aren’t living and leading us from the head. They reside in the physical body.
Trauma starts with an event, the emotional reaction to it, and that inability to COMPLETE the emotion I spoke of above. Once completed, witnessed and unwound, we become free from it.
But there is more healing to do, since trauma and the stress impact of it, effects our physiological health; creating side effects like
Hormone imbalance
Insomnia
Anxiety & Depression
Lack of motivation or drive
Apathy about life/lost-ness
Weight gain/loss
Perpetual states of fear, hypochondria, worry
Fight/flight/freeze
Trauma & Titration
Titrating Trauma out of the Body-mind
In Somatics, this is called “titration” , a scientific term used to describe a common laboratory method of quantitative chemical analysis used to determine the concentration of an identified object or substance, in this case, the trauma itself.
Titration takes the approach of “Less is more, slower is better, in trauma work. Our brains do not like this because they’re running on a more and faster is better program, which can create further trauma. So, we remove the mind from the equation that wants to think away trauma, and get into the body to “notice” the trauma into an unwinding.
Titration means that we slow things down through a slow drip approach. Because trauma is “too much, too fast, too soon,” you want to counter this concept at play in the body through trauma renegotiation.
Slowing down means working with only small bites of difficult experiences at a time, so your body can digest the shifts without snapping back into a deeper trauma state - think about what happens when you work a muscle too hard that you haven’t stretched. Same approach, different muscle group.
It also entails pausing, taking time to notice sensations in the body that correspond to what’s being spoken about - in other words, when you talk about an event and your mind wants to go into a spin to rectify or analyze it, you go into your body instead, to notice where you’re FEELING it.
When we do this effectively , the bodily sensations we’ve noticed will often begin to complete, unwinding old protective responses that were unable to be carried out in the past.
Trauma & The Kidneys
Fear is the emotion of the kidneys and the bladder,
organs that are both associated with the water element. Fear is a normal and necessary emotion in balanced states, but becomes dominant when trauma ensues. And we don’t often correlate the side effects of trauma and chronic fear states with the kidney’s bio-energetic system. but it is.
They’re also deeply tied to the HPA Axis, as the kidneys sit onto of the adrenals and work together intimately to offset stress, anxiety, trauma and fear.
Kidney issues arise when we’re faced with intense and often perpetual states of fear. You can never isolate an organ, endocrine, body part of system of the body, as they all work intelligently together to heal and release unwanted states, but we can identify a need to nurture an aspect of the body-mind to rebuild the stamina to heal.
Your Kidneys & The HPA Axis walk into a Bar
A not so funny joke about trauma. But seriously, the HPA Axis is a serious player in the trauma game.
The HPA Axis
The hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis (HPA) is the main stress response system. It’s the neuroendocrine link between perceived and physiological reactions to stress.
The primary function of the HPA axis
is to release glucocorticoids - a class of corticosteroids/steroid hormones - that activate short-term physiological responses to stress.
While some stress is necessary, existing inside chronic states of it causes dysregulation of the HPA-axis as well as other peripheral physiological functions - the myriad biophysical and biochemical processes, homeostatic control mechanisms and all communication between cells that occur both locally and non-locally within the physical body and in the unified field.
Basically, stress effects everything, stems from our emotional beliefs and body minds, and can wreak havoc on the nervous system.
I’m focusing on the kidneys here because
Healthy and Dysregulated Stress Responses, Developmental Stress and Neurodegeneration
Insomnia: Kryptonite for Trauma Healing & The Tooth Terrain
Studies show that stress is one of the leading causes of insomnia. When we’re under chronic stress our amygdala will be activated, leading to activation of the HPA axis, upping the secretion of CORT - cortisol and corticosterone.
ACTH (drenocorticotropic hormone) and CORT then increase, causing an awakening effect. Therefore, insomnia is closely associated with dysfunction of the HPA axis
The simple truth about dental health or pathologies, is that lack of sleep will strangle any healing tools or tactics you’ve implemented. Stop burning your money on a mountain of supplements and tools if you aren’t sleeping 7-8 hours a night from 10/11pm - 6/7am.
Trauma & The Tooth Terrain
We’ve established the connection between the kidneys and the HPA axis, where the adrenals do their thing in conjunction with the nervous and hormonal systems of our brilliant bodies.
But few know that the kidneys are the organ system that rules bones, teeth and hair. Which means you know what..
Kidneys in states of imbalance from chronic stress and/or trauma are going to effect the health & wholeness of your tooth terrain, and your overall oral biome. This means that the quality of the bone matrix in your mouth is going to reflect the quality and strength of your kidneys both physically and energetically.
Each tooth is also related to an acupuncture meridian and electrical circuitry inside the bodily systems, which all relate to various organs, tissues and glands in the body. They call this the "energy highway."
The core goal of The Whole-istic Dental Summit & Lab (aside from potent home self dentistry dominion and saving a ton of money on dental procedures through prevention and true systemic healing) is to show the connection between your oral health and the many systemic health issues we can’t seem to heal, stemming from dogmatic dental practices and damaging procedures, so we can reverse the damage permanently, at home and naturally.
You can identify & address your overall health and wellness by reviewing your dental conditions.
Deuteronomy 31:6
“Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.”

Two Fold Trauma Tonic
For
Emotional trauma
Tooth terrain.
Elements
1 cup local Spring water
1/4 cup Grass fed (raw) milk where available
2 Tablespoons Dandy Blend
1/2 tsp, Rehmmannia, Sun potion
1 heaping Tablespoon, Colostrum by Surthrival
1 tablespoon, Collagen
1 tsp, MSM powder (optional) , Flora Health
pinch, Celtic Salt
7 drops, Stevia ( or to sweetness profile preference)
4 drops, Soul Support by Alaskan Essences
Directions
Boil spring water in glass or stainless steel kettle (no plastic).
Add dandy blend, colostrum, rehmmannia, collagen, stevia and MSM powder to high speed blender. (if you have a handheld Frother, that will also work, then add to your cup).
Once water has boiled, add to dry herbs in blender. Blend on high for 30 seconds to 1 minute until uniform.
The colosutrum’s high fat content will need the heat and the power to alchemize with other herbs.
*Note: Allow water to cool slightly before adding to an enclosed blender (bullet, belendtec, vitamix) to avoid a disaster or injury.
Once blended, pour into mug. Add your milk and garnish with Celtic salt.
I'd love to try raw milk but unfortunately it's not available in Canada because Helleth Canada basically banned it for consumption or sale. I know it's available in most states south of us but that doesn't help us out much north of the border. Can a person use coconut milk instead? Organic of course.
